I am wondering why Finland does not have an outlet mall? you see invidual outlet stores (factory stores) but not all in a mall. Wondering why is this? Truly, are all the manufacturers doing so well that in Finland they do not have a need to fill this gap?

There is one in Vantaa, Vantaanportti Retail Park (www.vantaanportti.fi) with several outlets mainly selling furniture etc.
Marketing of this retail park has been really lousy - I had almost heard nothing of the place before reading on the paper that some of the most interesting stores were leaving due to lack of customers...

Im going to Helsinki after christmas for few days. Do you know if there's anything intrested connected with fashion/fashion design? some museums, original boutiques or sth worth seeing?

FashionFINLAND.com edits all the best things there is to see in fashion in Helsinki, so take a look at the site before flying here.
You might also be interested in the exhibitions of Design Forum Finland (www.designforum.fi). And, of course, almost all the sales are on after Christmas.
Also take a look at free magazines and papers when you arrive in Helsinki - City in English and We Are Helsinki, for example, tell you a lot of what's going on. And the Helsinki Tourist Info (in Pohjoisesplanadi near the market place) is great, even the locals use it to find out where to go in Helsinki. You will also find the free magazines there.
