Work wear company Image Wear will dress Finnair’s pilots and staff in planes and airports in the future. Image Wear’s uniforms also include the new outfits, designed by Ritva-Liisa Pohjalainen, for Finnair’s service staff.
Image Wear will also supply electronic uniform ordering software for Finnair. This software enables following individual uniform quotas and use of money for uniforms. The company will also manage Finnair’s uniform office at Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
Air hostesses, flight attendants and pilots are the largest group wearing uniforms made by Image Wear. The group includes more than 3.500 employees. Airport staff, such as airport officials and staff of tax free stores will be wearing these outfits in the future.
