Description

The aim of the degree is to provide a broad education for the field of fashion and clothing. Projects are widely used as a method of teaching. A student can orientate to a variety of sectors in the field with alternative courses and projects. Work practice deepens the orientation for the student. Co-operation with companies is emphasised.

A Bachelor of Cultural Studies (Fashion) is a fashion professional working in the product development connected with design, pattern making and production. In the area of production, a student will be given skills to work in domestic or international production, acquisition and logistics. A student can also orientate to marketing and entrepreneurship and will be able to work as a buyer or product assistant and in a variety of service-related jobs.
